Mexican Blue Palm
Brahea armata
A solitary palm tree that grows slowly up to 40 feet tall (13m). A gray, smooth trunk 18 inches in diameter with leaf scars, or occasionally, persistent dead leaves. 25 to 30 glaucous, blue-grey costapalmate leaves that are divided into 40-60 leaflets. Petioles slightled armed. Drought resistant and require well draining soil.
