Chilean Mesquite

Prosopis chilensis

Rapidly growing tree that requires little water. Can reach 25 feet high and has graceful, dark green leaves that measure up to a foot long. Semi-dormant from December to April and will often shed its leaves during the winter. Small green-yellow flowers appear in the Spring.
